Outreach
Workshops
The Commission is committed to informing the profession and
the public of the ethical and professional parameters that should govern
the behavior of all educators. To that end, the Commission has developed
workshops that are designed to
familiarize the participants with the Commission, the Code of Professional
Practice and Conduct, and the educator disciplinary system. If you are
interested in sponsoring a workshop, please contact the Executive
Director.

Ethics Toolkit
The Commission has developed an eight module online
resource designed to address some of the most common ethical challenges of
teaching within a case study platform:
- The Ethical Teacher
- Private & Professional Lives
- Relationships with Students
- The Connected Teacher
- Teaching in a Diverse Society
- Improper Personal or Financial Gain
- The Ethical Colleague
- Fostering an Ethical School Climate
Each module provides a contextual introduction to the
ethical challenge, an overview of the Code of Professional Practice and Conduct
for Educators, the Commission and the educator discipline system. A
variety of video and text case studies and readings are offered within each
module to elicit self-reflection and the integration of professional standards
into practice. A facilitator guidebook is provided with the
